Safety Direct's D-ring extension, also known as a back D-ring extension lanyard, attaches to the back D-ring of a harness lengthening the tie-off point allowing an easy and safe connection for lanyards and self-retracting devices. When calculating free fall and fall clearance distances, it is important to include the length of the dorsal extension.
